Meditation For Fellow DIYers
In 2015 I “had it all” — I’d raised millions, was engaged, my company was on the up-and-up.
And I was miserable.
Working 80-hour weeks, barely sleeping, barely exercising, barely spending time with loved ones.
Not to mention having any fun.
My fiancée next to insisted I start meditating...and so one morning, I did.
And it changed everything.
I was totally free. I didn’t realize this was an option.
And so my journey began.
I mostly figured it out on my own.
And I hit a LOT of detours.
Over a decade later, I’ve meditated for thousands of hours, with celebrated teachers, over 7 months on retreat. I’ve trained with world-renowned experts in psychology and mindfulness, certifiying to coach and teach. I’ve spent months in the jungle drinking plant medicine and had many hundreds of hours of all different types of therapies.
After 5 years of coaching folks weekly and biweekly, it’s safe to say I’ve found a method that works — folks feel 29% happier after just one year with me. It took me ten years to see that level of improvement in myself. Clinical interventions average ~5% improvements in 12 months.
